We at Binju’s Education (“Binju’s Education”“we”“us”) respect your privacy and want you to understand how we collect data and why we collect data. This Privacy Policy covers our data collection practices and describes your rights to access, correct, or restrict our use of your personal data.

Unless we link to a different policy or state otherwise, this Privacy Policy applies to everyone whether registered or non-registered user / student who access Binju’s Education official website, Binju’s Education App or any other service provided by us.

By using the Services in any form, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You shouldn’t use the Services if you don’t agree with this Privacy Policy or any other agreement that governs your use of the Services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How do we collect personal data

The personal data that we collect about you comes directly from you when you’ll register yourself for any particular course or simply browsing through Binju’s Education official website, like your name, e-mail address, mobile number, etc. Other data such as your performance in exam and other certain questions regarding the exam shall also be collected from you either via phone communication or via official mail. The personal data is stored by us and associated with your account.

Usage of the data

We use your data to do things like provide our Services, communicate with you, troubleshoot issues, improve and update our Services, analyze how people use our Services, serve personalized advertising, and as required by law or necessary for safety and integrity.

We use the data we collect through your use of the Services to:

Provide, administer and manage the services provided by us to user’s/student’s as per user’s/student’s requirement.

Process your requests and orders for courses, products, specific services, information, or features.

Communicate with you about your account by:

  1. Responding to your questions and concerns;
  2. Sending you administrative messages and information, including messages from instructors and teaching assistants, notifications about changes to our Service, and updates to our agreements;
  3. Sending you information and in-app messages about your progress in courses, rewards programs, new services, new features, promotions, newsletters, and other available courses (which you can opt out of at any time);
  4. Taking feedback from users to improve our services.
  5. Improve our Services and develop new products, services, and features;

Who we share your data with

We share certain data about you with your Binjus Education instructors/mentors to improve your performance or administrative department to have a communication with you. We shall be saving some part of your data with us when you’ll be terminating your account so as to send updates regarding our new courses, news-letters and promotional e-mails of Binju’s Education.  We do not share any data provided by you to us with any third party in regards to marketing or promotion of any brand or product. Your data is solely to be used by Binjus Education and none else.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Security of your data

The data provided by you shall be saved in a local server and we take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal data that we collect and store. Unfortunately, however, no system can be 100% secured, so we cannot guarantee that communications between you and Binju’s Education, or any information provided to us in connection with the data we collect through the Services will be free from unauthorized access by third parties. Your password is an important part of our security system, and it is your responsibility to protect it. You should not share your password with any third party, and if you believe your password or account has been compromised, you should change it immediately and contact with binjueducation@gmail.com for any concerns.

What rights you have over your data

You have certain rights around the use of your data, including the ability to opt out of promotional emails, and collection of your data by us. You can update or terminate your account from within our Services, and can also contact us for individual rights requests about your personal data. Parents who believe we’ve unintentionally collected personal data about their underage child should contact us for help deleting that information. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Accessing, Updating, and Terminating Your Personal Data

You can access and update your personal data that Binju’s Education collects and maintains as follows:

  • To update data you provide directly, log into your account and update your account at any time.
  • To terminate your account, you need to send an e-mail to our official mail id binjuseducation@gmail.com from the registered mail ID quoting the reason for termination of your account. Please allow up to 30 days for a response. In case of a query, we shall revert you on the same mail ID. Please note that we retain certain data where we have a lawful basis to do so, including for mandatory record-keeping and to complete transactions.

Modification of private policy

From time to time, and as and when required Binju’s Education shall be amending its private policy. We shall neither be notifying or sending any mails regarding the same. It is user’s/student’s responsibility to go through the private policy time to time or as and when required basis. If student/user notes any aberration from his/her expectation, he/she shall coordinate with Binju’s Education immediately and cease using his/her account. Unless stated otherwise, modifications will become effective on the day they are posted.

As permitted by applicable law, if you continue to use the Services after the effective date of any change, then your access and/or use will be deemed an acceptance of (and agreement to follow and be bound by) the revised Privacy Policy. The revised Privacy Policy supersedes all previous Privacy Policies.
